Most children typically learn to identify all of the
uppercase letters first. Then, once this knowledge is secure, children
are ready to learn all of the lowercase letters. Since text can be
written in all uppercase letters or a combination of uppercase and
lowercase letters, it is important for children to be able to identify
both the uppercase and lowercase versions of each letter. The following
worksheets will give your child valuable practice matching uppercase
letters to their lowercase counterparts.
