Kindergarten Worksheets- Opposite Words

Use this range of opposites worksheets to help teach your preschooler some simple opposite concepts. Teaching your child opposites is a great way to improve your child’s vocabulary, as the addition of descriptive words to their communication will greatly improve the level of detail your child can convey – ‘soft bunny’, ‘big teddy’ or ‘little boy’.

Opposites Worksheets – List of Opposites

The first range of worksheets are printouts that contain a simple list of opposites. Review the list of opposites with your child to ensure your child is familiar with each word and opposite concept. This is also a great opportunity to discuss the opposites and real life examples around you.

Opposites Worksheets – Color & Match the Opposites

These Opposites Worksheets are slightly more advanced as the opposites are mismatched. As your child becomes familiar with opposites, they will be able to identify and actively match the opposite images by drawing a line between them.
